Balaton Play Festival

The Zamárdi Play Festival will take place from 7 to 9 August 2026 at the Event Square. The Balaton Play Festival aims to introduce today’s children to the opportunities offered by folk traditions and the forms of entertainment that have been forgotten over time. The name of the event also reflects this mission, making it a unique festival both in Hungary and along the shores of Lake Balaton.

The family and children’s programmes feature countless types of traditional games, including the creation of the Heart of Lake Balaton. All programmes are free of charge!
