The roads are crowded, the children are heading back to school, there are lists, tasks, work stress, and even figuring out what to cook can become a source of frustration. The change of seasons can feel a bit bumpy at times, but once the new routine is in place, the well-deserved reward can follow. Many people think that the arrival of autumn means that vacation time is over. Now it’s time to focus on work and sweat all day in warm sweaters, because it’s September. Fortunately, the weather doesn’t care what the calendar says and will keep us in a summery mood throughout the low season. Don’t tuck your light clothes away deep in the wardrobe just yet – pack them in your suitcase instead, and enjoy carefree walks along the Balaton shore, with ice cream and sunsets.

What’s typical in summer but you definitely won’t encounter in autumn is the crowds. Now you can finally stroll freely, take in the scenery along the shore, and quietly listen to the sound of the waves.
The view from our private beach is unrivalled: the silhouette of the Tihany peninsula, white sails, smooth water. In the low season, it feels like it’s all here for you.
Take a few deep breaths of the fresh air, run along the shore, start your day with outdoor yoga, or enjoy a steaming cup of coffee on the terrace of your mobile home.

At Mirabella Camping, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing stay. Comfortable, nature-close accommodation, sports courts, dining options, a swimming pool, sun loungers, and a playground are all available. You can rent a bike on-site, and you can even bring your pet along. In the low season, you can enjoy the quiet beach, the freedom of the early autumn atmosphere and the comfort of camping.

Caravan pitches and tent places
On our caravan pitches and tent places, electricity is included in the price – just bring an extension cord if you want to use it. On our comfort pitches, you’ll have electricity, water, and wastewater connections. You can also book a special beach pitch at Mirabella Camping. If you missed it in the summer, now you can make up for it in the low season with this exclusive experience. The Beach pitches offer direct views of Lake Balaton. Set up camp, sink into your camping chair – you’ve arrived at freedom.
Mobile houses
Our mobile homes are equipped to provide the comfort of home. Bedding, towels, and a hairdryer are provided, and the kitchen comes with a hob, microwave, cookware, and tableware. Bring a kitchen towel, pack your favourite small pillow, and if you’re coming with your dog, bring their bed – but you don’t need to pack too much. All you have to do is put your feet up on the terrace of your mobile home and relax.
Feeling hungry?
On-site restaurants and eateries take care of your needs. Enjoy carefully prepared dishes in the restaurant, classic Balaton fried hake, lángos, or a craft burger by the shore. And of course, drinks for every mood: coffee for a calm morning, spritzers for afternoon chats, and cocktails for evening relaxation.

The courts are all yours – just bring your favourite ball or ask at reception.
- Volleyball court – Waterfront fun awaits, the campsite buzzes with community life, and your team is sure to find a challenger.
- Sandy sports field – Active fun for football enthusiasts.
- Streetball – A fast-paced basketball game, some friendly shooting around, and this will quickly become your favourite court at the campsite.
- Table tennis – After a bit of warm-up serving, the real battle begins. Now you just need to decide on the winner’s reward.

- Ferry trip to the Tihany Harvest Days: Between September 20–21, it’s worth hopping on a ferry to cross to the northern shore for some festive fun. The ferries run every 30 minutes from nearby Szántód, and after the short 15-minute ride, the peninsula awaits your exploration.
- Autumn weekends at the Zamárdi Adventure Park. An exciting experience that’s a must on the bucket list for anyone who loves active recreation. Rope courses, challenges, and a charming forest setting await near Zamárdi-Felső train station. It’s great fun for families and friends alike. Open every weekend in the low season from 10:00 to 18:00.
- Gastronomy festival tuned to autumn: From September 26–28, Autumn Wildness in Zamárdi. The focus is on game dishes paired with excellent wines.
