We’ve come to the end of the season, and it’s a bit sad to say goodbye to you for a while, but this year we’ve had lots of positive experiences thanks to the sensational little community of Mirabella!
In 2024, every day became a memorable moment, easily found in this joyful, liberating environment and its unique waterfront atmosphere.
Every day at Mirabella Camping is a great opportunity to get together, celebrate, play sports, have a good time, cook together, tell stories around the campfire, eat well, do what you really love, in short: enjoy life.
It is safe to say that there was no shortage of memorable moments this year! Meanwhile, we, the team of Mirabella Camping, are constantly working behind the scenes to make sure that you can experience all this in the greatest possible comfort, in a truly modern, yet close to nature accommodation!
Great community atmosphere
At Mirabella Camping we offer you a holiday experience like no other, thanks to three secret ingredients.
The atmosphere of Mirabella Camping is a combination of hotel-like comfort, the special atmosphere of being close to nature and the waterfront, and a sensational camping community.
Waterfront experiences
Many of you agree—and we must admit—that the campsite is truly exceptional, situated right on the waterfront, allowing you to enjoy the view without any disturbances. And this panorama is not just any panorama, it is one of the most beautiful views of Lake Balaton.
The view of the Tihany peninsula opposite certainly adds to the unique atmosphere of the location. On our private beach you will find our beach pitches and a dog beach unique in Zamárdi.
This summer was also full of excitement, waterfront adventures and memories that will stay with us for a long time. The waterfront atmosphere is not just about the proximity of the lake, but also about the way you use it. Many community members of Mirabella are enthusiastic about water sports. This year you could jump on the board again and Windsurfcenter provided surf and SUP lessons right at the campsite. We are delighted that the Mirabella camping community has been enriched by so many enthusiastic surfers.
Comfort and freedom
We find that the Mirabella camping community loves two things: comfort and a sense of freedom.
A holiday in tents and caravans brings an authentic camping atmosphere to this holiday destination. If you haven’t yet camped on a beach pitch, we highly recommend that you don’t miss the opportunity. These special spots sold out quickly this year. Just imagine the exhilarating feeling of sitting in front of your caravan, sipping your favourite drink while enjoying the uninterrupted view right on the shores of Lake Balaton.
On the one hand, you’ll find all the services you need on site, and on the other, you can choose from comfortable, fully equipped mobile houses with heating and cooling. You can relax in the home-like comfort, enjoy a shared breakfast on the spacious terrace or curl up for an afternoon nap. The mobile house is like a real Balaton holiday home, a quiet private resting place, yet it is located in the liberated environment of the campsite, surrounded by nature.
At Mirabella, gastronomy is a priority, ensuring you won’t find a hungry camper here—everyone can discover their ideal way to enjoy meals. Whether it’s a delicious lunch at the Spájz Bisztróban, vagy friss pékáruról a reggelihez, amit helyben a G+G ABC, a picnic by the beach, a crispy hake, a delicious lángos at Lángosellátó, a heavenly craft burger at the buffets, the only limit is your imagination. You can even cook yourself, and cooking can be a real community activity, a family recreation.
Together with the Mirabella camping community
What we love most about the camping community at Mirabella is the friendly and close-knit atmosphere that can be found wherever two guests meet. There are dog lovers, surfers, families with young children, couples looking for romance, groups of friends, but we’ve also had class trips and corporate team-builders this year. This diversity makes for an interesting holiday experience and we are sure that the Mirabella camping community creates this friendly atmosphere.
This year, the biggest laughs in the Mirabella camping community once again came from the children. It’s nice to see that everyone, even the little ones, can feel free here. Animacik have been tirelessly delivering great programmes all summer long, and many of you attended again this year. Every day, you could enjoy sports, arts and crafts, quizzes, and plenty of creative activities, all in a safe, enclosed environment where children can explore freely while the older kids confidently move around on their own.
The Mirabella camping community is also enriched by four-legged pets, as they are also welcome guests and we can see that they love to meet people! As the owners walked and talked together, dog friendships were formed. There were big swims with the furry pets on the fenced dog beach and big excursions around the area.

At the firepits, there was plenty of time to chat, cook together, and share best practices. The real Mirabella camping community experiences were largely around the fire, where communal sing-alongs and cookouts created those lifelong summer memories.
We feel that the Mirabella camping community became stronger this year. We thought a lot about what it was that could bring people together like that. We don’t know the answer for sure, but we do know that there is something good about being here together. You’ll find everything you need for a holiday at the campsite, whether it’s gastronomy, leisure, sports or just a little relaxation, you won’t have to leave Mirabella.
We’re constantly working to bring you everything you need for your comfort, so you have more time for what really matters – each other and quality time together.

As we say goodbye to the season, we want to thank you for being part of this wonderful adventure. We are grateful for every minute we had together and look forward to seeing you again next year! We’re already thinking about the opening of the season and have a lot of development plans for the future. We are excited to get to work so that next year can start with many surprises.
